xbox one controller on windows 7....

Ok so I got a wild hair and picked up a wired xbox one controller today and Im trying to hook it up to my PC. I went through all of the MS docs and I for the life of me cannot find a damned driver for the stupid thing. Their website takes you to a page for downloads and only has documents and no driver. If I go to the guide for connecting it it just tells me to run windows update which I did and it contained no driver updates. So where the hell do I get the stupid drivers for this thing?????

if i remember correctly, the xbox 360 drivers also work for the xbox one controller. i upgrade from 360 to one and i dont even remember it downloading new drivers

My bad, I saw xbox 360 and went on that.

if that's not working, this appears to be doing the trick for other people.

Ya I finally figured it out. Stupid MS why not just put the stupid driver download on the damn support page????

Have to use IE, add some stupid catalog app, then download and install the driver. PFFT so unnecessary.
