I can only go to 45 on ram and 90 on core

you mean 290/245 (core/mem) hrmmm that is rather bad....why dont you check out Rage3d.com i know that had a long thread on bios flashing and the utilities with which to do it....but beware this is very dagnerous for your card.....many people would suggest a volt-mod instead, at least that way you messing up would only be dependant on your skill and not your videocards mood at the moment...
