What sound cards is everyone using with the VIA chipset?
I have an Aureal and having some problems.
I don't know what to replace it with, Phillips, Turtle beach
or Hercules...
whats best? what is everyone else using?
Might try the Iwill sound till I get one. Anyone tried it?

From what I've seen SB live is the most used it seems I just put one in my system, it works great 1.1 tbird KT7a-Raid

I was going to use the Iwill onboard sound as a temporary solution, but it is better than my old (awe64) soundcard and good enough to make getting another soundcard a very low priority. It sounds great and I run it through my stereo sometimes and use my computer as a stereo system.

I've got two systems with VIA chipsets up right now. On one, I have the SOUND BLASTER LIVE! PLATINIUM, overclocked 10*105. On the other I'm using the basic SOUND BLASTER LIVE oem card.
On the FIC AZ11 board I had trouble with the onboard sound "falling" off, having to reinstall the drivers often. No problems since upgrading.
