Hard Disk Error Reported In Event Viewer

Hard disk 5 will be in disk management. Disks are numbered on the left starting with 0, disk five is most likely a removable drive.
I am also having disk errors with my Freeagent drive.

You are correct it is a removable drive when connecting my mobile phone and switching it to File Transfer mode it is that very disk that was reporting errors. I went into the properties of the disk >> Policies >> and select optimize for performance I now use the safely remove hardware feature so the OP can remove the disk to be pulled from the cable.

I haven't had the error reported when doing this.
