How to show FPS in GTA3??

i use fraps. it shows your FPS in every Direct3D game. http://fraps.com/

you just start fraps, then start the game and it will show your fps in a corner.

some pople have found that it does. it reduces the speed slightly for me, and also caused a few instablilties last time i used it

But if you don't have it turned on, how can you tell if it runs better, (you can't see your FPS)?

maybe there using a game like UT to use its built in FPS meter and comparing it to when FRAPS is running.

that could be how people are comparing. i personally havn't seen a performance hit by using fraps.
