i just bought an i7 3770k and i'd like to overclock it to 4.5ghz. what heat sink should i use? liquid cooling or air cooling? what brand and what type is the best? i'm on a tight budget btw. thanks

Welcome to the forums. :welcome: I moved your thread from the benchmarking section, into the cooling section - the main part of your question is about the cooling people recommend.

On a budget, your best bet is a good heatsink. You'll find some others will respond to tip you off on which ones give the best bang for your buck currently.
