My dad needs a new computer his is really slow, would it be better to built something for him or buy this? this guy at work is selling it. What you guys think?

My dad doesn't play any games, just alot of ebay/pictures and skype. And every time he is skyping the computer saying low performance. What you guys think?

Ouch... Id build one for cheaper/same cost without that old CPU and POS, way over powered PSU.
 
yea i would just build one two,plus you never know when your buying something used how much abuse its been through.
 
Its so much at ebay because of bitcoin mining. Otherwise, its a decent card for gaming... but again, your dad doesnt game so it doesnt really matter how good the GPU will be when he can get away with on board. ;)
 
bitcoin mining? my second rig has 8800 gts 512MB, so i can always swapped this GPU out for that
