Hi ilcrba,

Without pricing each item, and excluding the time/effort of building and assembling it yourself, I'd guess that it's a decent deal.

Depends on what their 'stock' cooling is. If it's the Intel factory HSF, then I wouldn't think it would handle much of an OC. This is IMHO, of course. ;)

Enjoy your new gear,
-JT

Personally the stock cooler would go to 4.0ghz, but beyond that I would want some high, middle aftermarket cooling to run 4.5Ghz 24/7.

I don't see Win7 64 bit operating system in the list of mix of stuff in the kit.

Other than the two items above it seems a pretty good and well rounded system for the dollars.

OK. I plan to get aftermarket cooling. Just a nice big heatsink. And also I have W7 HP and Ultimate. 64 bit of course :).

Seems like a pretty good deal.
CPU Mobo and Ram alone will run around $500-550, plus all the other items think it would run roughly that maybe a little less if you pieced it together yourself.

I'd say thumbs up for a single stop spot to get the gear.

I got something similar 9 months ago for 1200. I would say that is a good deal mostly because of the ssd..

with an Asetek 550LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM it runs about 30c - 33c at 50% cpu (running BOINC). I havent tried overclocking it yet.
