I looked at the web site you posted to me your choice seems limited? The reason for AMAZON is they have a wider choice and good deals! But it is not worth saying things from them if you can not buy them in Norway? From what i have seen your things look OK to me so far. AJ.

p.s. What is the exchange rate £ pound to Norway?

ahh now i understand a little more, thanks for explaining, well the site might be a little limited yes, but they have always been very good at delivery and fair prices imo, same goes for when my m8's have orderd their PC parts off there. and as i said, i don't feel like amazon really have that good deals, and i can order from them as i said, but they don't have a store in norway as far as i know, but you can have em ship the parts to a post office and you can go pick em up there, then home and build :D
From what i have seen your things look OK to me so far.
you reffering to the halfway ok PC i've made so far?

and the exchange rate according to windows gadget valutta: 1pound=9,16072Kr

YES its a nice build the only thing maybe i would change is Ram Memory make it 8GB @ 1600MHZ @ 1.5volts other than that because of where you live in Beautiful Norway and your limited for PC Component Shops! That is the best anyone can do at this stage? AJ.

I posted a report on your GTX650 Card so you can see the results just click on the link?

so : http://www.ps.no/ArtDtl.aspx?i=303122&model=&salg= instead then for example? and does all the components fit/run smoothly with eachother btw if you don't min checking? i've alredy check some myself but im stilll partly a n00b, and it's doable to SLI the GPU's yeah? and/or is it any effect cause if not then i might aswell just get a single one that is way better
this is a cost reduced build but good uppgrade.
and not familiar with the site you linked, but from the stats on the GPU compared to old one it looks way better which means good uppgrade for games XD

OK down to business the motherboard you choose is a good one and will work well with the i5-2500k CPU! You should reach 4.5ghz OC with that combo, next the PSU you should try to get a 650w or 750w so if you decide to add a second GPU card? You will not need to up grade again, its best to have a bigger PSU than you need! The HDD go for a Western Digital Black or BLUE 500GB to 1TB @ 7200RPM @ 64MB 6GB/S? So have a look at the links i will post for you and come back to me with your answers. AJ. :)

These items posted are what you need to look for in NORWAY and for information on what you have chosen so far to complete your set up?
Also yes the Memory post should work with your board and the build, but just double check the list of memory i posted for you also?

CS - Welcome! Looks like Ajay has you pointed generally in the right direction... however so did a couple others in your previous thread :). To make it easier for yourself and those helping, its best to only create one thread on the same subject. I'll see if the moderation team can merge your two threads. :)

Well that's why i can not post hi hi OK Thid on that! I just saying to EarthDog a lot of hard work since there is not many PC Shops in Norway hi hi! I hope he is happy with the results tomorrow? AJ.

p.s. Yes i missed that must getting tired or something else?

morn morn
the psu wou't be a problem since hes most likely getting one of the ones i've purcased from oklahomawolfe a tt1500 that i've had laying around a couple yrs or more

in case anyone wounders cs is my cousin
there is a few other places around here to order from but ps.no is a 30 min drive away so it's fairly easy to get parts right away and have a good customer service

i've had a look at hes setup too but since i've been pretty much out of the loop i pointed him here to get some advices

as ajay say amazon has a wider selection but problem is even if it is cheaper to buy there it will be added 25% tax when it reaches customs here so bottomline in most cases it woun't be any cheaper unfortenutly

ty all for welcomeing him and adviceing best possible :)

jr1 If your cousin goes with the parts he has selected and the items ive also said he should have a nice working set up. That will do what ever he wants now and long term as well. AJ.

ok, so more or less what you want me to do is replace my ram with 1600, and a good PSU, well for the PSU case i've talked with a m8 who has a unused PSU for sale, believe it's over 1K W atleast.
and as i asked about the GPU card, is it worth SLI the 2 or better to just buy a 2-3times better single. cause if i don't get much extra improv with the doubble low end GPU's what the point, then it's better to buy a way better single one to about same price or perhaps a little above.
as for my HDD's il be using my old ones, got one 250 Master, and two Slave HDD's i belive it is, one is 1 TB and the other is 500Gb,( i belive the other 2 is slave. been ages since checked :p aslong as it all works i got a smile on my face so :D )

so all i really need now is your opinnion if the entire build fits together and/or waht would be more beneficial at a preferly lower or slightly higher price :D
i checked "Ps.no" and the memmory link i found should work with the Motherboard :D

thanks for all your help so far :D it's greatly epriciated

Sorry for the norwegian for other readers:

du må øve deg på engelsk :p cousin= fetter/kusine, :p nevø er det riktige ordet :p husker ikke hvordan du staver det for øyeblikket da på engelsk.

Well from what we done so far i can not see to anymore on the parts side it will all work really well. So can you give me a idea as to what GPU you are thinking about? As in SLI or crossfire there is some advantage, but that depends a lot on the card you choose. AJ.

well the GPU i was looking at so far is : http://www.ps.no/ArtDtl.aspx?i=305364&model=&salg= cause it's cheap and way better than the one i'm currently use. will the SLI help any at all, or better to find a single way better or SLI 2 : http://www.ps.no/ArtDtl.aspx?i=306621&model=&salg= instead of someting? might aswell just go with a : http://www.ps.no/ArtDtl.aspx?i=288655&model=&salg= instead of SLI, but with the SLI it will allow me to use more than just 2 screens which i am using now( but got a 3rd one ready to be used).

Right CS Sorry for some reason the comparison of the 3 cards will not work, but the best 3 are still below to look at!

1,http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/548?vs=680

2,http://www.ps.no/ArtDtl.aspx?i=245221&model=&salg= Maybe this would be a better card!
3,http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125414
4,http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/548?vs=550

The post above is the results between the 650ti vs 7870 vs 7950 it will give you a clear idea which is the better card! After you have spent time looking just kindly come back and tell me you decision please. AJ.

Hey Aj, sorry for the late reply.
some of the links wont open so can't really see, but i've been searchin around a little and this card has been recommended to me by several people: http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/hardvara/148781-asus_geforce_gtx_560_ti_2gb_top-pci-e/ and my 2nd alternativ http://www.ps.no/ArtDtl.aspx?i=306621&model=&salg= (figuerd it's better than the original and not that much more expensive), as for the 1st link i would like alot but i think it all really comes down to how much i wanna spend. so i gotta do some calculations when i have time.

so any comment to the 1st link and 2nd? and do you think it would work with my current setup?

-Cs

As far as i can see both would work well with your set up and i see there is a nice large gap between the slots as well. I will do the GTX560TI VS GTX650TI for you to look at the difference in games, power, noise as well regards AJ. :)

1,http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/547?vs=680

As you can see the GTX 560 TI comes out on top in the match up, but it is more power hungry and noisy as well. So CS my friend its up to you to choose which one now!

Thanks alot m8 for all help you've given me.
as for the GPU diffrence: Noisy don't really bother me seeing as i use a headset often or i use speakers with loud volume. so that point isn't really helping me decide which :p as for the power it should be fine, think the PSU has like 1500W or so, so that erally shouldn't be a problem, so as i said in last message, it's more or less up to how much am i willing to pay, so gotta do the calculations when i get home later today.

Will probably update my post when i've decided and post a few pics when i got all the parts and buildt it :D

again thanks alot for all the help.
