I've been reading a lot of articles about cooling fans, but none of them answer this simple question. If you buy a Pentium 4 processor (478), does it come with a heat sink and cooling fan already? And is it okay to just use that one?

I read some specs on the P4 processor on one site, and it indicated that the answer to this question was yes. So if this is true, my next question is why would you want to buy a different heat sink and cooling fan from another party under _normal circumstances_? (ie I'm not planning to overclock it)

Thanks,

Leviathan

Hey man you should be fione with the stock heatsink and fan if you do not overclock. A better heatsnik will cool it better but at stock speeds you should be cool...heh
