MY 420W OKIA Generic PS (pos is more like it) just died on me and I need a replacement fast. I want to try and not spend over $100 cdn on a new PS, but I'm not sure which would be a good choice for my rig: (in the signature)

It's overclocked as high as it will go stable, just under 2.5 Ghz @ 1.825 Vcore right now, and with the old power supply, Motherboard Monitor showed that my -12V line was around -14V and my -5V was around -6.25V.

The old supply had these ratings:

420W MAX
+3.3 - 28A
+5 - 40A
+12 - 18A

-12 - 1.0A
-5 - 1.0A
-5SB - 3.0A

Apparently, this wasn't good enough considering this supply only lasted a few months.

Apart from what's in my SIG, I have 2 DVD drives, 1 7200 rpm hdd, 3 80mm fans, 4 USB devices and a 12V relay that turns on the watercooler.

What kind of line ratings do I need to power this OC'd rig? Any PS recommendations?

I would grab a Fortron 350 from www.acctech.ca... either the SP-350-60BTS or the FSP350-60PM will do fine. Their website is a bit hard to navigate at times, so here are the direct links:

http://www.acctech.ca/secure/item_pre.php?sku=100162&catid=ps&sessid=285546533

http://www.acctech.ca/secure/item_pre.php?sku=100323&catid=ps&sessid=285546533

Both of these units will easily outpower the Okia. I would also suggest Antec Truepowers over 380w.

Edit: There are a few places in the Vancouver area that carry the Fortron 530w, but it's over $100 at all of them. Acctech does; as well as www.sonexpc.com and www.ntcw.ca (look under Aopen there).
