what did you clock it too?

take it up to the peak of Killington and see what you can do. 2 years ago when I was there, the peak hit -40f with wind chill. needless to say, I did not go out that day.

why would you insulate?

if the whole rig is outside than there is no chance of frost.

anything "running" will be warmer than the air. (just like in your house)

IE the case's side (metal) will be colder than the back of the vid card... etc etc

anyway...

(almost any hardware store should have D/N alcohol)


EDIT:
you might want to "put a blanket on" the HD, IIRC they do NOT like the cold!!

thatll be the last time i do that...my SS is getting re-gassed as soon as my HVAC buddy can get some r507 for it. then well be cruising! he said he can get the gas next week, and i have a free week after that so im golden. my mobo is all insulated and i just got a new chipset cooler. im ready to get that number 1 spot!
