What does this do in Bios(official BF) TH7-II

Hi,
Can you tell me what this does in the newest official BIOS(BF) from Abit.- Support PMC Pm49FL004T 4Mb Flash ROM ?

I am using BIOS version 7c at the moment i'm just wondering if its worth risking an update or not.

Ther doesnt seem to be much more in the new BIOS, thats worth updating too.

sounds like it soports a new bios chip maybe? i think thats the spec on the bios chips that we use. gotta cheak at work this week

Ive updated my BIOS to the newest BF version now, And can see no changes...
I'd still like to know for sure what this does- Support PMC Pm49FL004T 4Mb Flash ROM ?
