Would a Crorb be better then the 9700 stock cooling?

I have one just layin around and I might as well put it to use. Do you think that would be better because that is some hot air commin from my 9700, and I want to overclock it a little not that it needs it.

I think the syock HSF on the 9700 is pretty lame. It looks like the one that came on my 8500. I would think the Crystal Orb would be better.
Will it fit on the stock heatsink/ramsinks?

I would get a cooljag eventually if I dont go water with it but I cant really buy much now and was just wondering if that would be a good quick fix for now.
