SOLVED XigmaTek 140mm F\ans with 120mm fan grills

I'm ordering some Xigmatek 140mm fans, and the description said that it can be mounted on 120mm or 140mm mounts.. Does that mean you could mount 120mm grills onto the fans?

I would imagine so, but there would be a rather wide gap around the outside edge.

if you haven't yet, might want to reconsider xigmatek 140mm fans... I just bought one from newegg and it was defective. I've ordered a pair of corsair AF140's to replace. The fan was surging and creating this vibration/resonance in my case that was annoying as hell...

Thanks, I was looking at some Yate's earlier, I think I'll get those instead.
