on the abit website it says something like support only pc2100 but i hear other people saying they use pc3200. what kind of ram can you use on this board? i want a 2.26 will this cpu work good with this board?

Yes that CPU will work with that board.

The BD7-II is rated at PC2100 at stock speeds but when overclocking and taking advantage of the built in memory multipliers it's capable of pushing the memory bus speed way over the rated speed of PC2100 RAM (133Mhz).

For example if you go with a P4 2.26 (133Mhz FSB) and overclock it to 2.55 (150Mhz FSB) and also activate the 3:4 memory multiplier it would be running your ram at 200Mhz which is what PC3200 is rated to run at. This is how people manage to run higher ram speeds on this and other boards.
