i have an albatron 845pe mobo and it wont boot!!

i just got this mobo, and a new p4 1.8a. i plugged in both atx power connectors, connected cpu and heatsink, connected cdrom and hd and put the power pin out in the "right" place as designated on the mobo, but in the manual it says to put them on a place where a pin is non existant, the pinout seems to be upside down, when i plug in power, a little red led on the mobo says standby is lit up. the fans jerk a little but no boot. any helP?

im 90 percent suer its the psu only, will buy a new one tommorow and then see from there.

I had the same problem with the same board. Check out this thread. Turned out to be my old graphics card.

The headers are upside down on the non PRO version of the board I think. It is printed on th PCB which headers are for what. But that confused me aswell
