I have a HP 7965 with a P4B-LA motherboard. I was wondering if any one knows how to set jumpers on the board so I can upgrade the processor. HP said there are no jumpers. I think HP just had them left off. This board is a micro atx form factor and socket 478 processor. Thanks for the help.

Hi, thats a Asus monterboard with a HP bois so I would call and ask HP whats the hightest P4 you can put in it.. or get on there forms and ask someone on there.. it could just be pnp and read whatever P4 you put it in.. but I'm sure you can't go over 2.4
thats a SDRAM PC-133 board to... and has a max of 1.5GB ram
I looked and looked for the specs for that moard to give you but all I could find is its a P4 board jumper free.. I couldnt find anything on the max CPU you could go with..
sorry :0\
