Asus A7N8X and A7N8X Deluxe??

Im looking at the A7N8X board. Whats the difference between the two boards???

Deluxe has 6 channel sound about on par with Audigy, Sata raid, A second network adapter, and firewire... that's all I can remember.

i'm kinda happy with it (stable, room for your own settings) but i've read that people here tend to consider the Abit NV7 as the best board nowadays, and it's cheaper too.

me, i use the Deluxe firewire for video editing : works great, and i dont have a sound card, so i like that A7N8X
has 5.1...
your choice depends on what you need. if you like the Asus extra-features, go for it, it's a good mobo

doesn't the abit nf7-s have the sond and sata raid and alll that other stuff?,,,also it's better for oc'ing....and cheaper..

the Abit NF7-S is the way to go. It's better at overclocking, shares the same southbridge as the A7n8X deluxe, and is cheaper

The only difference between the abit and the asus dlx is the usb asus has 6 abit has 2 i think

It does have 6 USB ports and I need all I can it I dont have any room for a hub
