VDD Mod on NF7-S 2.0

Can it be done the same way as described here?

The notes at the bottom explicitly state that the mod is only for the 1.2, but since the 2.0 is nothing more than a 1.2 with a newer stepping NB, is this mod viable for the 2.0?

LMK, I should be getting a 2.0 within the upcoming days, I want to know if I can VDD mod it. Thanks!
