ThermalRight SLK-900U on ABIT KD7-E?

Has anyone installed this? This mobo is not listed a tested on the ThermalRight website. I wanted to verify I can install it before I buy it!

I took a look at the KD7-E over at Abit's site. The main 2 things to consider with a heatsink that large is:

1) Does it have the 4 through-motherboard mounting holes. And yes, the KD7-E does.

2) Is there enough room. This one is a little bit harder as the KD has the processor ZIF socket way over to the left side of the board.

I would find the specifications for the heatsink and do some measuring to see if it will clear any capacitors and those parallel ports.

Other than that, try to find someone who already has the same set-up.

I dun think it can. It doesn't fit on my Abit KD7-RAID.

Is the SLK bigger than the PAL8045? I have the PAL on my KD7.
