I have a Abit KD7 that can do 333mhz. i have old ram, however: crucial pc2100 (2x256mb). I want to get pc2700/3200 corsair xms (1x512). So, I will go from 266mhz to 333mhz and cas2.? to cas2..
The only problem is, i'm not sure how much of a performance gain i'll get. if i'm gonna put in the money for this ram, I want to ensure i'll see a noticable difference
so, in short will an upgrade from PC2100 2.5 to pc3200 2.0 ram give me a noticable boost?
