Okay, this is my first Intel processor after being with AMD for a while. I have a couple of questions as to getting more performance out of my P4. I'll start with system Specs:

P4 2.4c
Asus P4P800 Deluxe
1 stick of GEIL PC3200 512
1 stick of GEIL PC3200 256
ATi 9800 Pro
Audigy 2
1 cd rom
3 harddrives

in the BIOS these are my current settings

current FSB is at 221
agp to pci locked to 66/33
ram volts at 2.85
DDR freq is at 400
ram times are by SPD

with these settings in the bios i can only do 221 FSB stable with out sandra burn in crashing. are there any other setting that i can change so i can go higher on the FSB or is my RAM just plain crap?

please help me out guys, thanks alot.

well,

hi there,

you can change

performance mode to standard,
disabled HTT
memory acceleration mode to auto
disable ICH Delayed Transaction
disable Spread Spectrum
disable legacy USB Support, and
disable anything integreted that you are not using,

also check the drivers of your video card, fresh install is a must

on a side note,
I have the same mobo and cpu, before I couldn't go above 300, but them I uninstalled the video card drivers, same as you, and I was able to get up to 330, right now I'm playing games at 325 with 1.65v, and thats 3900 baby:D, but I'm running a home build phase change so that could help too,

well I hope you find a way to overclock more, and good luck;)
