I'm getting a S-ATA 200GB HDD and I've heard various issues about some boards having a 137GB limit, so is anyone actually running a 200GB+ HDD's on his P4P800 or P4C800?!

It's an interface limit.

From Winnetmag.com

Q. How can I access all of my ATAPI hard disk, which is larger than 137GB?

A. Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows 2000 SP3 add support for 48-bit Logical Block Addressing (LBA), which lets you access hard disks larger than 137GB. To enable 48-bit LBA, perform the following steps:

Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).
Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Parameters registry subkey.
From the Edit menu, select New, DWORD Value.
Enter the name EnableBigLba, then press Enter.
Double-click the new value, set it to 1, then click OK.
Close the registry editor.
Restart the machine for the change to take effect.

Be aware that if you multiboot your system with OSs that don't support 48-bit LBA, editing this registry setting might cause data corruption. If you still can't access hard disk space beyond the 137GB limit after you restart your system, your system BIOS might not be 48-bit LBA compatible, in which case you need to talk to your computer manufacturer.

Or you can partition it into 2 100gb.

ok but once you've made these changes to the interface/file system access, will you still be able to do a clean install of 2000pro or XPpro when needed?!

No.

With a 200gb drive, you should make a partition for the OS (10 or 20gb), install the OS, then make the changes so you can access the larger partition. This way, if you have to reinstall your OS, you won't lose any data because it will be on your other partition.

Thanx for the info! But as it turns out I'm not gonna get this particular HDD cuz it's basically a standard Maxtor Diamondmax 9plus with S-ATA interface, and it has slower seek times and slightly slower tranfer rates compared to my current 180GXP. I'll wait until faster mainstream true SATA drives start to appear. Raptors are too expensive and to small for me right now, and I'm not into RAID cuz of backup and setup issues I don't like...
