Twinmos PC3200 512Mb with Winbond BH-5
Gigabyte r9700pro

Will this rock?

Already have the memory and gfx card.

Yeah the A64 will rock, have heard good things 'bout the Asus mobo tho.

Just get that to at least 2.2Ghz, which will be easy, and you'll be rockin.

Looks like my setup except I have a different video card. I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm not overclocking.

didn't the 3000+ have less cache....from the newegg site it looked to have 512 cache instead of 1meg.....wouldn't that reault in less perfomance?......just curious........btu yeah man if it's the same as the a64 3200+ just -200 mhz then that system will rock your socks ....shee even if it's a 64bit version of the 2500+ barton it will still rock your socks

if you have a 9800 XT with the 3000+ AMD64......you'll be rockin @ 23,000 3dmarks Note: must overclock everything

yes thats right but it still can kick a p4's arse at 2.4ghz when the p4 is at 4.2ghz

Both the Xp3000+ & Xp3200+ AMD64 Run at 2ghz ..... only difference is the Xp3200+ has 1mb cache and the Xp3000+ has 512kb.

The Xp3000+ AMD64 is fantastic and is kicking ***. Not much of a difference between 1mb cache and 512kb from the benchmarks ive seen.
