Bios flash P2B BX2I1012

Howz cuz the bios update bx2i1012 for my old p2b downloads as a fax veiwer file instead of a .exe? No instruction whatsoever on the asus site, and it won't open in AFLASH. I thought at first is was just a bad down load, but I tried downloading it 3 different times, from both the north America, and Global sight with the same results. I have version 1011 in it now, but it does not have hardware monitor. Oh yeah, It doesn't open with fax veiwer either.
