In case anyone is interested, Kingston has the retail dual pack of value ram on sale through the end of March for $90, less a $10 rebate for a net cost of $80 per the 2 x 256 pack. I ordered two packs and they both had the BT-D43 chips on them. My local BB has them at that same jacked up price of 160 after tax. Their displayed stock was also ALL Hynix BT-D43. I looked in a CC but theirs were Kingston branded and selling for about 120 before tax. It seems like there's a bunch of those chips floating around right now. They're known to do 250 - 260 and sometimes more so depending on what you're looking for, its a good buy for an Intel rig, I think.
