as the title says, what happens when u use ECC Ram in a mobo that doesn't support it? will it work? if it works, would u notice any improvements or performance hits? or it would just work like normal?

It should work, it just won't have ECC functionality...which is pretty useless for the most part in home systems that aren't running system critical apps.

o. i guess as long as it doesn't worsen performance it should b ok. was just wondering. since i could get some ecc ram for cheaper then non-ecc so if it works, mite as well get it
