KT4V help

i have a KT4V and the multiplier of my 2000+ athlon XP is locked. this picture below is the same for me too if i want to unlock???

if your cpu is a thrbrd then the board will let you use lower multipliers as that cpu uses 12.5 default

it will not allow 13 or higher though

that tricks no good to you either way

if it will not boot if you pick a lower one then my bet is the cpu is the older pallamino cpu

and you dont unlock them like that

they are fill the pits and silver paint job to unlock and its not easy

its a palomino cpu.
so what can i do with this if i can't change the multiplier?it doesnt rise a lot with only fsb change.
