i just re-installed windows sp2 slipstreamed, and now when i use remote desktop from another computer to my dually, it reboots the computer. has anyone experienced this before?

remote desktop use to work before at the same 1280x1024 resolution, but after my install it doesnt work...

ati 9600 pro video card.

could it be ati drivers?

i noticed that if i set the resolution to 1024 x 768, i can use remote desktop without the computer restarting. another thing, how come my max resolution is 1280 x 1024 without ati drivers, but with ati drivers, it is only 1024 x 768?

thank you

Try running Event Viewer (in order to access the error logs, and check for any critical errors)...Start | Run | Type eventvwr.msc and click OK | Highlight "Application" and "System" independently in the LH pane | Right click any error message(s) (critical errors are in Red), and select "Properties" | Write down a couple of the latest critical error messages exactly as they appear (under the "Description" field), and post them in this thread.

Also, open the System Information tool by typing msinfo32 in the Run box | Expand "Components" | Highlight "Problem Devices", and look for any problems that might be listed there.
