I am having problems with my internet explorer and I would like to find the exe file to install a new copy over itself. Anyone know where to find it? Thanks!

Well I've never seen one but you could try a repair install, or installing a different browser like firefox.

I tried repair features and it's for a customer so I can't just install firefox. I know I have seen an exe if IE6.. Anyone know where it's at?

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ie6sp1/finrel/6_sp1/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/ie6setup.exe

download that file to a folder called ie6setup, then execute this command in the run menu to download all the setup files

"C:\ie6Setup\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"

as stated above, u can access it in another way by going to www.microsoft.com > downloads ull find it on the top downloaded files or just search for it.

i wud also urge u to install all the security patches and upgrades for IE.. wud prevent or at least decrease the chances of it acting nasty
