Hi,
I've got a new pc3200 A-DATA, but my P4B-266 SE doesnt boot up.(no beep, no sound, nothing at all).
i tested the module in a P4B-533 , it was ok.(its DDR speed is 266 too!!)
I think all DDR-400s could run down at 266, if it's true is there any chance i can get my rig up with a BIOS update? (i'm running an old version)

By the way my mobo says 2.5 volt on it's memory slots and the new one i got is recommended at 2.6, so i tried mem voltage jumpers on mobo but i got nothing.

Thanks for any help.

Try using the ram out of the other pc in yours.

some mobos don't like some of the memory that is made nowadays.
even if it does work in another pc, it may not work in yours always.

Let us know.
