Ideas for a new system

I'd like to build a new system with a budget of about 800 bucks, not including a monitor. It's hard for me to keep up to date with all the new stuff so that's why I'm asking for your help. Need some ideas especially on mobo, cpu, and once that's decided some ram. I've always been happy with asus boards that's why I'm posting here.
