Anyone used the ram coolers?

Was looking at Ram coolers

I was wondering if anyone has tried these and if so, do they work really well? Could I also just mod a 120mm fan inside the case to blow on the ram and it would give the same effect?

You can easily mod a 120mm to do their job at a lower cost, and less noise for more CFM.

That said they're a nice easy solution to RAM cooling, most RAM only requires minimal airflow to keep it cool, so they will do a good job

heres the thing though, say you have a tight fit in your case and the 12cm fan is not gonna fit - i made my own ram cooler based on the corsair model - i just fit 3 40mm fans in a line and rigged up some supports - it works great too. i would recommend a cooler if your overclocking ram. a 20$ cooler could save your 130$+ ram.
