Viper Xtreme Series 8GB DDR3-2000 (PC3-16000) and ASUS Extreme Maximus iv -z

Hi All,

I have the following memory:
Viper Xtreme Series 8GB DDR3-2000 (PC3-16000) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 4GB Memory Modules)

The BIOS of the ASUS is saying the memory is clocked down to 1333mhz? Is there a reason for this or anything i could do to correct it and make it run faster?

Either enable XMP Profile #1 (the BIOS will automatically adjust all necessary timings and voltages at 1000MHz), or manually adjust the Memory Frequency to DDR3-2000MHz at a default 100 BCLK, and the timings and voltage to 9-11-9-27 at 1.65V. You'll also need to manually adjust the VCCIO voltage from the default of 1.058V if XMP is disabled.
