DDR? Anything based on the SiS645 chipset. Mostly because you can run the ram at insanely high speeds to give bandwidth to the processor.
RDRAM - ABit's TH7II. PCI/AGP in spec. Volt mod for ram to possibly have it run faster. Tons of tweaks to do to get your system to the fullest.

Not all SIS chipsets are compatible with the Radeon 8500
My Soyo absolutly hates my Radeon 8500 and Im not alone, as this is a known issue.
