PC2700-3000-3200 will run in any PC2100 DDR board. The only difference is the rated fsb.
For example:
PC2100 =133fsb X 2 = 266mhz
PC2700 =166fsb X 2 = 333mhz
PC3000 =180fsb X 2 = 360mhz
PC3200 =200fsb X 2 = 400mhz
Remember that DDR is double data rate, that means that info is passed along the high and the low arc of the ram frequency. Thus the "X 2."
PC3000 will "run" in your board but it "may" not reach its fsb rating due to the chipset of your mobo or all around overclockability of it.
My board is a PC2100 board but I run PC3200, see my sig. But my mobo will let me reach a speed of 177fsb. I am not reaching my ram rating but it is a far cry from 133fsb. I hope this helps. krag
