I've read 2k Pro handles SMP but will
Advanced Server handle it?
I use XP at work and I prefer 2k AS for
home.
 
Yes, all of the Server flavors are built to hanlde SMP. We have two duallies running W2K adv server with no problem.

Yeah.. Think of it this way: Anything with NT 4.0 or 2K is SMP enabled in all flavors and to varying degrees (at least I think so).
 
Yeah but clustering is like SMP OS's, not SMP CPU's.

And it is an absolute nightmare to setup and get running. Anyone even thinking of doing this with anything Microsoft should be shot and put out his/her misery.
