Unlock xp2400 question

I have had a hunt around the forum and the 'net. I am still not 100% sure of the method required access the lower multipliers of my xp2400.

Can someone confirm that I just need to connect the last of the L3 bridges? I don't want to end up using the wrong method.

yes, connect the last of the L3 bridges, but what I want to know is the best method for "shorting" the first L7 to get 1.825v default

1.825 as default? what good does it do since you can set your Vcore manually in bios?...or can't you?
