What is max head??

ok....... if i put a pump in a tub of water, rated at 1m head, and took a tube 1m long ant attached it, it would pump upto that level. So it means how high the pump can pump

na, its only how HIGH the pump will go, you could have like 10ft of tubing , laying flat out, and it would still pump at its rated GPH, now if you raised the tubing up 2ft, it would not, and that would be one weak little pump~

Yes. For our purposes max head, or pressure, is much more important than GPH.HappyAmdOwner said:
