Wow just upgraded from a Ti4200...

To a PNY FX5900... this is so much of an upgrade over my 64mb 4200 lol. I just ran Aquamark3 and got a score of 38,304... and a 3dmark01 score of 14,847. Are they about right for a STOCK 5900? I just installed it so i haven't gotten a chance to OC it yet


BTW what do i need to do to flash the bios to a 5950xt card? The specs of my current card is 256bit, 128mb ram, PNY FX5900. If you need any other info let me know. Thanks guys/gals!

Whats your 3Dmark 2003 score?

hehe i am d/ling 3dmark03 now. I never d/led it because i was still using a DX8 ti4200 card so i didn't think the bench score would be that acuarate.

BTW i just OC'd it to 420/900 and increased my 3dmark01 to 15,064 and got my Aquamark to 45,457 =)

I just got a 6071 3dmark03 score... is that good?

For that video card and your system, yes, that's about right. I scores 6,200 with my friends 5900XT o/c'ed to 5900ultra specs, running 3.4ghz and 1gb of pc4000 memory (he has all of that and he doesn't overclock at all >:O)

I recently upgraded to the msi 5900 from a ti4200 too, big diffrence. im still tweaking but my most recent 3dmark03 was 6391
