intel inf drivers

do changing to the latest INF drivers efect performance as much as the VIA 4-in-1's? What is the latest INF driver (i have the 815ep chipset)? also, where do i download these from? What is the best performing inf driver?

The .inf driver is not as important as the via ones as most operating systems already have the intel drivers built in.
