Microsoft Server 2008: Active Directory

Is there a way to export a list of all of the items that in the active directory? More specifically can I filter it by type, ie computer, and then export that list? I am trying to trim down and get rid of accounts that are no longer active. If there is a better way please let me know.

I use it occasionally in some of my scripts to pull lists of computer names/user accounts, etc based on different search criteria.

Good suggestion. i got it to output to a txt file. Is there any way to output it to a excel file so that the info is in columns? ie CN=<name> would be in column A OU=<name> in column B and so on
