It’s time to make a new box folks, some comments before I toss my list out there for your suggestions.

I’m shooting for a gaming/movie PC on my 1080p TV with a good 5.1 stereo. My TV is up-to-date, I’ll probably route HDMI out to my receiver, then to the TV.

I think my list is pretty good, looking for bits of savings where possible, but that’s not priority. I’m still a bit under my budget of $1500. CPU HS and ram compatibility could be an issue. My mobo might be too much, but I want Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for the possible mic I’ll get. I don’t plan to OC much for now.

I’ll be playing the new Mechwarrior games and maybe a few other things. My Tech station PC in my ‘Mancave’ isn’t changing for now.

Things I’m not sure of are a mic setup. Like it to be wireless and can be Velcroed to my headphones, but wired is okay since the controllers will be USB to the PC back by the TV, what's another wire eh? My headphones are at the bottom of this list if you want to see what I have.

I’m still not sure about a mic.
Maybe a mic setup that will work with headphones, maybe like a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on the mobo?
I’ll have two USB cables already running from my gaming chair to the PC, so a stereo cable is no big deal. I just need a good stereo mic I can clip to my shirt or jury-rig with Velcro to the headphones. Maybe this would work? Seems to be good quality audio.

Your HS and RAM look like there should be enough clearance.

Can't help you as far as mics go.

Overall build looks good.

No overclocking?

Here's a little mini review on a few mics. Taken from Mad Lust Envy's guide to gaming headphones on Head-Fi.

Thanks Knufire, I'll be getting the Labtec for a try. The rest looks pretty decent? I built the list today so prices are current. Like to click it, but I'll give it till Friday when I'm off.

It's an home theater setup, so it needs to be at a low rumble. Nothing but care free use, not much making things go zoom.

Ninja edit!

Looks like they got a new one out!

Here you go. Didn't include the keyboard/mouse, since that's a lot of personal preference. Not much to say on those specs wise, best thing to do is find reviews. I like the Bitfenix, but it came with a pretty hefty shipping charge. The Lian Li should be pretty similar and a bit cheaper.

P.S. I would consider getting the K version, even if you don't OC right away. Just so you have the option in the future. There's the same combo with the 3570K if you do choose that route.
