Hey guys, I'm working on a new build. It's been a while since I built a PC so let me know what you think. I'll be using it for MCSE, virtual servers, teaching IT from home, tech related stuff, Gaming, Web dev, day to day. Part listed first is my first choice. I'm adding opticals & HDDs I have. I'm contemplating adding an SSD but already over budget. I am thinking about possibly swapping to the MSI Mobo.
Sorry that this is a mess my lappy & PC are both dead so I'm on my phone.

Case is one of my biggest issues. I decided on a Cooler Master Trooper. Apparently they have been discontinued. My backups were Rosewood Thor V2's & Cooler Master HAF X. Apparently none of my options are available unless I spend $150 on shipping from Newegg which honestly I'm contemplating. Does anyone know if there is something new that is similar to these cases? I would really appreciate it!
I will say I hate white cases, plain boring square/rectangular cases with no embellishments at all, cases that are shiny because they will always look dirty like stainless steel dishwashers & that will drive me nuts. I want a cool, interesting looking black case, preferably with red lighting as it will match well. Blue lights can look cool too, won't match my parts, I can maybe change some so we'll see. I want a case that is of good quality, is easy to chop & change around, has a lot of bays & has lots of room to grow. I prefer a full tower case.
Yes, I understand this may sound like I'm asking for a lot but I had some solid options. I'm hoping that something has replaced them I just don't know of. Okay now this post is enormous. :)

Ya, looking what Newegg offer you I'm very surprised the Phanteks Pro is cheaper than the Cooler Master. The Phanteks is a far superior product than the CM. If this were my build it would be a no-brainer.

If you really want the LED lighting you can get this on that includes the RGB LED Kit.

EDIT:

For your other components, if you don't plan on a heavy overclock then the MSI board will likely be fine for your uses and the ROG would be absolute overkill. That alone will free up a ton of cap space.

For Ram I would get the cheaper 3200 speed (just verify compatibility with whichever CPU you choose).

The GPU - Any 1060 6Gb version will suffice. Check warranties and make a decision. We all have brands that we like and dis-like for various reasons but in truth you'll get pro's and con's with each product.

For your CPU cooler I wouldn't go any cheaper than the Cooler Master 212x. Especially if you wish to overclock.

Hey, thanks!

What kind of OC limitations does the MSI board have?

Is it not the 3200MHz ram listed? Sorry.

Sorry I should have mentioned about the GPU's. It seems each store only has a couple available so they were just ones that were available at different places. There was a nice looking red & black one that I thought would match but it's been discontinued & no where seems to have it. I was thinking maybe an ASUS Turbo or EVGA Super Clock if I can get one otherwise I don't really care. It's a low end yet overly expensive card & it'll do.

Thanks for the case info & links. I'll check them out better when I get home. It's hard to see on this stupid phone outside.

No problem. It's not that you will be limited in your OC by the board. Most likely the MSI will take the CPU as high as you can either keep it cool or hit the CPU's ambient max. Many of the ROG boards are made with extreme overclocking in mind and may have more bells and whistles along with a power section stout enough for sub-zero overclocking.

To be totally honest this is a horrible time to buy a GPU as many of the bitcoin miners have bought up all the inventory. This is why many GPU's are out of stock or way overpriced. If you're able to wait a few months you will likely get a better deal, or at least have a larger inventory to chose from.

Ah, okay cool. Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed that. Very frustrating! Unfortunately I have no choice. I am currently computerless as my PC & lappy both died so I have no build it now.

That case looks alright, thanks. It doesn't look like it's available everywhere like every single part right now which is starting to drive me nuts! I'm trying to buy them from within Australia if possible so I can get it sooner, preferably Brissy but that is seemingly harder than you would think. Umart is lacking in parts. I will keep looking & see how I go later this arvo or evening. It looks like I can get most parts from Melbourne or I may go Newegg just need to work out what to do. Case is likely the deciding factor.
