EK-KIT P280 Water Cooling loop help

I decided to go with a custom water loop EK-KIT P280 for my Corsair Obsidian 750D case and Asus X99-A motherboard and I7-6850 CPU.
This is going to be a very expensive build for me and I was wondering with a EK-KIT P280 loop, how do you know if your pump stops working while your CPU is under heavy load video editing?
I know, your CPU burns up!
Is their any alarms or systems I should have in place to prevent this or is this so rare that I shouldn't worry?
Is their any inline water temp or flow meters I should use to know my pump is starting to fail?

Your CPU will shut itself down before any damage occurs.

Your motherboard BIOS has alarms you can set if you like to worry about it less.

There are flow meters you can add to your loop if you choose, absolutely!
