LF Opinion: Best Bay Res?

I'm thinking of moving on from my trusty Swiftech micro reservoir and moving into a bay reservoir for looks and functionality. I really don't like the mounting options in my case with the micro res.

I was hoping to gather some opinions on what the best quality bay res was. I really like some of the Danger Den stuff & have heard many a horror story about leaky XSPC ones.

That particular res was fixed with a V2 upgrade, they added one screw to the lid where it would bow and cause a leak. I would recommend you look close at how the res mounts to the case if you plan on res mounted pump(s) as it can cause some noise. A bay res without mounted pumps isn't a problem.

I run a dual D5 pump xspc bat res and I have some noise/vibration at 100% pump speed. Pumps normally run at 60% and are quiet.

You can find horror stories about every brand out there, I think some are user caused.

I'm glad to hear they fixed that issue. I realize there are horror stories about every product, but the XSPC had more than most. They have some left on Jab-Tech @ 50% off. Tempting me.

My pump will be separate from the res.

It all depends what case you have, what pump and how many pumps you are going to be using.

And it's not only about "good", it's also about "looks"... what works for you.
eg the Koolance "looks" good, but isn't the easiest res outthere. the Swiftech has a certain look & comes in different functionalities, but it might not be to your liking.
The monsoon has been called "the best" res outthere, but me, i find it looks "bland", it doesn't match my taste.
