using an higher VDimm can help to achive higher Ram FSB, and generally a +10-15% increase is more than safer, but with a very good case ventilation, and heatspreader, is possible to go above.
higher voltage definitely helps with speed increase and stablility. i have a stick of windbond bh6 memory that runs okay at 2.6, soon as i hit it with 2.88v or more, it simply takes off. no wonder the guys with this memory covet it so much...
