fsb on ak31v3.1 and data coruption

when up fsb on my mb with unlocked axp over 150 fsb i get data coruption of my hd. i had a tb 1.4 that would run at 166 fsb with no problems. whats diffrent with the axp thats unlocked?

Your HD can't take the busspeed or your NB gets to hot.
Have you changed anything else beside the processor?

changed memory from pc2100 to pc 2700. changed vidcard to ti4200 other that that and the axp all is the same.

try disable hdd block mode in bios. i had the same problem

so i'm curious, since that's what fixed the problem for me, and now i run 166 fsb.. did that help you out?

I had the same problem too (a long time ago)
Then I updated the bios and it fixed it. (Now, I didn't oc... temp's very high)
