How much pressure is too much pressure on a AMD socket processor when I'm installing a water jacket. I'm having a problem getting the CPU to cool using a water cooling system and AS2. I think the problem is that the CPU is not tightly attached to the water block. So the question is: how tightly can I attach the CPU to the Water block?

we could help a whole lot more if we knew what block you were using. I will assume DD maze2. Colin here has the springs on his all the way down. Basicly what you want if for it to have good solid contact with the core. You shouldn't be able to wiggle everything around with it. BUT don't go tweaking it yet until someone who has this block can tell you some more.
